Is Facebook Page is enough for my business? Pros & Cons of Facebook Page

Facebook page is a great way to put your name out there, it’s a great avenue to share your work, product or services with billion of people. Social media has revolutionized our world and Facebook playing a huge part in it. Facebook Page is definitely serving a lot of purpose for business around the globe.

Some of the key benefits are:

Increase exposure to potential customers
Facebook is a great way to gather more leads
Without doubt using Paid/Unpaid version of Facebook, lower your marketing expenses
With paid marketing you can reach a targeted audience
Using Facebook insight to understand the trends
Facebook is a great way to build brand loyalty

However, is a Facebook Page is enough for your business?

A simple answer is Not really!

As has been said earlier, there are hundreds of millions of people log on to Facebook every day, still this is just not enough as you might be loosing a big chunk of business which aren’t using Facebook. Only having a Facebook page without a dedicated website for your business isn’t a best of the idea.

Business analytics around the globe are agreed that your website is all about your content and calling visitors to action on things where Facebook isn’t!

To begin with your website is all about you and your brand. You can make sure that it represent your brand. You can place things where you want them to be.  When visitors are on your website, that’s what they see and frankly speaking that’s what you want them to see.

Believe it or not, not everyone uses Facebook! yes, there are 180 million of people who do use Facebook but not everyone does and more importantly not everyone wants to do business on Facebook.

On your website you can dictate what people do when they are on it. By setting up scenarios where visitors can possibly fall through to generate the result you want from buying a product, signing up for a newsletter or even simply generating a qualified lead. You can’t do all of that on Facebook.
